Powerpoint 2007 and 2003

My boss just had to have Office 2007 the first day it came out
regardless of my warnings. After looking at the demo of Powerpoint
2007 he just couldn't live without it. Now he's suffering the typical
problems of an early adopter. He's asked if he can install Powerpoint
2003 along with 2007. Once again, I've warned him this could cause
untold problems, but he seems to think it can be done. Can it be done?

He has to remove 2007, then install 2003 and then reinstall 2007. He
should have no problems with PPT, but some with Word.
What are the typical problems of the early adopters he is facing? It
might be a better course of action to remedy those.

He's collaborating with someone on a powerpoint presentation and she is
using 2003. He wants to do his own presentation in 2007 but the one's
that are a joint effort on 2003. It seems that even when he saves them
in the 97-2003 formats the fonts changes and some of the graphics are
different...imagine that LOL.
I may of placated him a bit. It seems his biggest problem is forgetting
to save the file in the 97-2003 format. I set the default save format
for him and he seems to think that will work. time will tell.
thanks for the reply.

Fonts don't surprise me. Office 2007 ships with a new set of default
fonts. In PPT Options, Save, check Embed fonts in the file. That should
take care of that problem.
