Powerpoint closure

When I start my computer powerpoint works fine - when I
close PP it will not open again until I restart. Task
manager says it never closes. If I manually end task, PP
will work w/o a restart. Any idaes on how to fix?
Already reinstalled. HELP!

Have you run Norton Utilities, Fix Windows or other utility that goes
through and cleans out your operating system? Problem sounds more of a
global operating system error than PowerPoint specific problem.
