Powerpoint Converted Graphics to X

A Colleague of mine was updating a rather large (101 MB) Presentation we are
working on and has now informed me that all the graphics have been replaced
with Giant Red X's.
Is there any hope of recovering her changes. Or do I need to just Revise
the File again from my last archived update?
