Powerpoint dimming feature problem

Excuse me if this has come up before, but I am having a problem with Office
X on a 17" PowerBook under 10.2.6.

I like to bring up points on a slide one by one, and them dim them to gray
when the next point is brought up. I formatted a presentation to do this,
and it looked fine, but in the saved file each point (except the first) was
greyed a split second after it came up on the screen. I reset the animations
and all seemed fine, but the saved file continued to do the same, and I had
to ditch the dimming animations on all the slides.

Does anyone know what is going on with this, and is there a remedy?

This is a know problem with PP X. Hopefully, MS will fix it but I wouldn't
hold my breath for it to happen anytime soon. You will have to break the
bullet point list into separate text fields for each bullet point to get the
effect you describe. A real pain in the arse! Suggest you use the PP
feedback (Help > Send Feedback) to add your voice to the rest of us to prod
MS to get on the stick.
