PowerPoint File Reading Issue

Do you get any error messages? Are you using PowerPoint 2003? If so, have
you gone to the Help menu and chose Check for Updates, being sure to apply
all patches? Have you looked for information at the PPT FAQ:

Hi,
I have solved the issue now thanks. I found a link from the rdpslides
webpage: http://www.officerecovery.com/powerpoint/download_demo.htm
FYI (just in case it crops up again) - The error message i had was simply:
PowerPoint can't read C:\Documents and Settings\PAUL\Desktop\(my
folder)\file.ppt.
I have SP2, and all the pathces/ updates that the Updates site can offer.
