PowerPoint full screen

Hi,

pp 2002 v10.6

when I run a presentation it runs full screen, hiding the status bar
(the start button, quick start icons and system tray) at the bottom of
the screen.

I know I can alt-tab to get to other applications but is it possible to
configure PowerPoint or windows so that the status bar never gets
covered up.

When I'm teaching I sometimes need to display screens from other
documents, word, excel etc. it would be a lot easier if I could just
click on the icon and not have to alt-tab and find the right document.

The status bar is set to 'ALWAYS ON TOP' and auto hide is disabled.

Go Slide Show > Setup Show > Browsed by Individual.
This will allows the taskbar to be shown.

Instead of alt-tabbing to your other applications, press and hold the
Windows key. This will bring up the start menu, which (magically) also
brings up the task bar. I am pretty sure that there is a Windows key combo
that brings up the taskbar, but it isn't one I keep memorized.)

What's a Windows key? That key in the bottom row that has the flying Windows
icon on it. :)

Thanks. That works a treat.

The only problem is to advance to the next screen I have to click on a
small bottom at the bottom right hand corner of the presentation.

Is there anyway of being able to click anywhere on the screen but keep
the status bar?

Thanks again.
