PowerPoint, Office 2003, custom animations?

I appear to have two different version of PowerPoint 2003 on two different
computers. One has the complete custom animation control (right side task
pane)that I have been used to. The other has a floating window that has very
little functionality. Reinstalling Office 2003 does not provide the full
functionality that I am used to. How can I correct this?

Click Tools > Options > Edit.
Under Disable new features,
check if all three boxes are checked.
If the boxes are checked, uncheck it.
