powerpoint on XP

Should powerpoint be available on XP. i Have XP but i
cannot seem to find Powerpoint, i only have Microsoft
Office.

It sounds like you got the "Small Business Edition" of Office XP which does
NOT come with PowerPoint. You will need to purchase it.

Windows XP and Office XP are two different things. Windows XP is the
operating system. Office XP is a collection of programs, such as Word and
Excel. However, Microsoft makes several versions of Office, and some include
PowerPoint while others don't. I'll guess that you have Office XP Small
Business Edition, which does NOT include PowerPoint. (Yes, this is
confusing)

You can get a free PowerPoint viewer from the MS Office Downloads site,
which will let you *view* presentations. If you want to *create*
presentations, you need to purchase PowerPoint. Wait a couple weeks and you
can get PowerPoint 2003 at you favorite software retail store.
