PowerPoint pictures will not show with music inserted

I use Office 2003 and when I insert music to a slide the pictures will not
show (they do with out the music inserted) this does not happen with every
slide just some. How can I fix this? I have done several PowerPoints and
this is the first time this has happened.

Thank you

Is it possible that the picture has an entrance animation? If so delete it or
change to "with previous"

I want the pictures to come in one at a time ( I have several pictures on one
slide) it does work when I change to previous but I want some time in between
the pictures.

Thanks

"After Previous" for the images (set how long you want to wait) and make
certain you have the sound file options set to "Continue Slide Show".

I am doing everything the same way as I have done with the slides that work
(on the same PowerPoint) so I wonder why these will not work? I am inserting
sound from a file and when the sound file is on the slide the pictures will
not appear but when I remove the sound file the pictures will appear.
Thank you

In that case double click the sound in custom animation and set stop playing
after current slide and either use a click for the pictures or use with
previous but in timing set a delay.

Hello John

That did it Thank You Very much I was at an end with it couldn't figure it

this way...but I am not going to question it just glad it is working. Thank
you so much again.
