Powerpoint pictures

I am going 'barmy' trying to make a slide show show text
first followed by two small picture files at the end of
the same slide

I have tried changing the animation sequence, but it only
brings up on the toolbar the written section, which I can
reverse but not the pictures, I have also tried reversing
the animation, but it still brings up the pictures first -
any help please?

What version of PowerPoint are you using and what animation effect are you
applying to the text and to the pictures? Have you set the pictures to
"after Previous" and given them some delay? Are you sure that you've
animated the pictures?
