What program do I need to run PowerPoint presetations. I havge micorsoft
works? Is there an update for this?

To run powerpoint presentaitons, you will need Microsoft PowerPoint.
Alternately, you can download PowerPoint Viewer to see the presentations.

You can buy Office student and teacher edition 2003

If you meant Microsoft Works 8, Works Suite 2005 and etc, it does include
Microsoft Word, but not PowerPoint.
