Powerpoint security tab

Hi

I am working on a presentation which needs to be uploaded to the internet.
Before I upload it, I need to password protect it so that external users
cannot use it for modification. When I go into the security tab in
powerpoint, the options for adding a password are all phased out.

I don't know why they have been phased out? Is there anyway I can get them
not to be phased out?

Which version of PowerPoint are you using?
