PowerPoint self-corruption

NSC

I'm wondering if it's possible to create a PowerPoint presentation that
corrupts itself after a certain period of time. I'm using PowerPoint 2001
and I need to send a presentation to someone, however, for security purposes,
I'd like the file to self-corrupt after a number of days. I understand that
I can lock the presentation, but I'd like to know if I can make the file
corrupt itself within a time period.

Yes and no.

You can make one that does this, or even causes itself to delete (how cool
is that?), but you can't make sure that the end user will activate it. In
short, the end-user gets to determine if your homemade presentation security
will run.

But (there always seems to be a but around, doesn't there?) you can add a
commercial level security to your presentation that the end-user can't
easily get around. See:

Near the bottom of the page is a neat little utility that won't let the
presentation play after a set time interval.
