Powerpoint Templates

I am using PP 2002 and have some 180+ PP templates in the template directory
in the MS Office Folder. However when I ask the program to format slide
design I only get access to a small quantity of the templates. what can I do
to get access to all the templates via the PP program?

Try to save a template - which folder does PowerPoint try to save the new
template within? That's the template folder.
