Powerpoint Web Sound

Trevor Gelsinger

Hi all,

We ave a problem with a powerpoint 2000 presentation that
we posted to the web. We used the narration feature.

ANy machine with Media Player 9 cannot play the sound
files, we get an error on the page. If you take that same
computer and roll it back to its previous version of Media
player the files work....Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks

Trevor

What's the error you're receiving?

Nice detective work isolating it to Media Player 9, by the way.

Trevor,
Any chance you could post a URL? It might help us do some trouble

Although I cannot give the URL since this is an internal
doc and on our Intranet. What I can say is that it is
running on IIS 5, and it is simply a powerpoint
presentation saved as a web page that has sound via the
narration feature.
