Powerpoint Web Speed

When I save a Powerpoint Presentation to our webpage it takes a long time for
many browers to open the file, and when it finally downloads, there is still
a lag in opening each page. How can I minimize the amount of time it takes
to open and view a Powerpoint Presentation? Thank You.

The presentation is already linked to our website, it's when someone trys to open the link it can take up to 5 minutes for the link to open.
