Powerpoint will not open templates or presentations.

My powerpoint program 2003 will not open up any templates (the ones that came
with the program) or any other powerpoint presentations. The templates nor
the presentations have worked since I installed the program.

The error just tells me that the file I am trying to open may not be a
powerpoint file and that it can't read it.

Sarah,
Open PowerPoint and do Help-->Check for Updates. Follow the links, then
download and install Service Pack 1 for Office 2003. Should fix the problem
right up. If it doesn't post back.
