I am having problems importing or opening a powerpoint
presentation that I have created. I am using FrontPage
2002 and Powerpoint 2000. In FrontPage it has cannot
display this page.
In general, you can't convert any PowerPoint presentation
into a "nice" and natural-looking set of Web pages. The
on-screen presentation environment and the Web
environment are just too different.
The best results, though, usually come from opening the
presentation in PowerPoint, choosing Save As Web Page
from the File menu, and then specifying an http://
location within a FrontPage Web.
Even this, however, doesn't create something that you'd
want to continue editing in FrontPage. To make further
changes, you should plan on updating the PowerPoint
presentation and choosing Save As Web Page again.
Otherwise, labor-intensive as this may be, you can always
copy the text out of each presentation page, paste it
into a new blank Web page, format, save, and move on to
the next page.
Or, if all your visitors have at least the PowerPoint
viewer, you can just add the .ppt file to you Web and
hyperlink to it. I hear PowerPoint 2003 has a much
improved viewer.
