Why won't my computer open saved powerpoint presentations? I have microsoft
office installed, have created powerpoint presentations on this computer, but
get an error message when I try to open.

What error message do you receive?

Also, which version of PPT? If it's 2003, go to Help/Check for Updates and
install SP-1 for Office 2003. It's a critical patch for PPT and resolves the
type of issue you've described.
