Hi David,

My recommendation is to run a repair on W2K and O2K. Run
them from Control Panel, Add/Remove software.

http://tinyurl.com/2wl7e is a link to google groups threads in this
newsgroup for keywords spontaneous reboot. I believe when we've seen
this issue in the past, it's been tracked to the need for a BIOS upgrade
and/or bad RAM.

And why is Turbo Tax popping into my mind right now? Did it have some
oddball problem or another with reboots or printing or something a few
years ago? Anybody remember?

TurboTax is popping in to your brain because it USED to mess with the print
drivers. They fixed that back in 2002(?2001?). When you were in midst of tax
prep with the versions that had the problems, PPT didn't know how to handle
the changes to the print drivers and would do the spontaneous re-boot thing.
Used to drive me crazy!
