PP 2003 Copy/Paste Slides

How does one take a slide from one ppt file and add it in another ppt file
without it being changed? I have a slide in "filename1.ppt" and want it to
go into filename2.ppt, and not have it change. Can it be done, and how?

Thanks,

Mark

Hi Mark

Insert -> slides from file -> browse to your file (you can add it to your
favourites list if you will re-use this file often) -> open -> select the
slide(s) you want -> tick 'keep source formatting' -> insert.

Voila!

I would go with Lucy's suggestion but if you really want to copy and paste
you should see a paste option button when you paste where you can choose to
"keep source formatting"

If it's not there check in Tools > Options >Edit to enable it
