PP does not asks for saving changes

Hello everyone,

Does anybody knows a solution for the following - not standar
-behaviour of PowerPoint.

Closing a file by using "Close" in the "File" menu does not result in
reaction of PP by asking to save the file yes or no. Closing the fil
by using the X-icon does result in a pop-up.
Also the option "Save" in the "File" menu works correct.

The problem occurs in PP97 on a NT4-system with SP6a en IE6 installed.
