PP2003 Live Broadcast and Windows Media services

Is it possible or is there a work around to using the PowerPoint Live
Broadcast add-in with Windows Media Services 9? Having to rely on a 4.1
Media server for this one thing is very inconvenient. Are there plans to
recitfy this soon?
