There are many problems with sizing and positioning of objects in PP2007 that
did not occur in previous versions:
- The huge selection corners completely obscure a small shape, so that it
can be precisely positioned only by trial and error.
- Even on a larger shape, these intrusive corners make it very difficult to
align an object precisely with another
- The selection border no longer shows the boundaries of an object being
sized; if the object has a background that's transparent or the same color as
the slide background, it is extremely difficult to see its size
- Dragging from a corner no longer sizes an object proportionately, as was
the case in all previous versions; it is now necessary to hold Shift to size
proportionately
