PPT Page Numbering

I don't think there is a way to do this, but does anyone
know of a way to start numbering slides in the middle of a
presentation? The only way I know of is to do manual
numbering with text boxes, or to move the beginning slide
to the end of the presentation so they are not counted in
the numbering.
