PPT spell checker

Spell check does not work on my PPT 2002. My version is
an upgrade package.

1. Is there a file I need to add or replace from CD for
spell check to start, or
2. If I uninstall current upgrade version, will I be able
to reinstall it?

Try doing an install of PPT or Office and select the Add (or Remove?)
components and then ADD the "Proofing Tools".

Should work.

2. If I uninstall current upgrade version, will I be able
to reinstall it?

Don't uninstall but just repair or add to the current install. If you
uninstall an "upgrade" it will probably need the original version to
re-upgrade.
