It may be that the path to the file has changed when you
burned them to the CD. If you edit your hyperlink (right-
click, edit Hyperlink), you will see in the Address: area
the location of your file. If this file is not in the
same folder when you burn everything to a CD, Powerpoint
will not be able to find the file. Try to make sure that
your folders are named the same, when you burn. Another
option: in the Address: area, if you have something like
this: files\movie.wmf, remove the files\ portion, and
just leave the file name. Then when you burn, make sure
the movie file is in the same folder as the preso itself.

Hope that helps.

Hello,

Since you have PowerPoint 2003, use the "Package for CD" command from the
File menu to copy your presentation and it's supporting files (like the
movie) directly to the CD (or to a staging folder if you wish). During this
process the links will be fixed for you automatically.

1) Open presentation where everything works (movies play, no broken links)
2) File -> Package for CD... <choose the desired settings/options>
3) Click on "Copy to CD" button or "Copy to Folder" (depending on what is
available and what you want to do.
