prevent certain tasks happening on certain dates in project

I have a project involving the refurbishment of a barracks however part way
through the project the barracks will be occupied for a period of training,
during this time access will not be available to the inside of the buildings,
but we can still work on external painting etc.

How can i setup project so that the internal tasks cannot happen during a
certain period bu the external tasks can?

Hi Rick,

Create a calendar (Tools->Change Working Time) and mark the time that the
internal tasks cannot be worked on as non-working time. Assign the calendar
to the internal tasks (Double click on the task and on the advanced tab,
select the calendar.)
