prevent formulas being entered into a cell

In order to ensure that in a price list only numbers and no formulas ar
entered, I want to "protect" cells to

- allow entry of numbers only
- no formulas to to be entered

how an I do this'

You can use Data>Validation to ensure that only numbers are entered in
the cell.

However, it won't prevent formulas from being entered, if they return a
valid number.
