Prevent "Gathering required information"

J

Jeff

I need to install Office 2003 on PCs that will be
accessed by numerous students. I want to prevent the
Windows Installer from running and the "Gathering
required information" window from popping up every time a
new user runs an Office application. I've tried to
customize the install, but must be missing something. Any
help is appreciated. Thanks.

This is because Office is preparing the registry for the user. When the user
has a roaming profile the user will travel with his/her settings so they
won't have to be created when he/she logs on to another computer.
