Prevent Saved Attachements from being Read-Only?

Hi.

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to configure outlook so that it will
not save attachements as Read-Only.

Its annoying to have to reset the Attributes of the files everytime I save
an attachement.

how are you saving them? if you use file, save as they should be read/write.
opening from messages and saving can result in read only.
