Print Comments Only - Word XP

I

ilene

I'd like to print the coments only (not the entire
document with comments as ballons) with the editor's names
and dates of edits showing.

everything i've tried so far hangs up Word.

Thanks for your help!

Hi,

This doesn't take a macro or vba. Use the Print command under the File menu.
In the box asking Print what? where it says "Document" change it to
"Comments."

Thanks Charles,

But the problem is that you get all the changes and
comments when doing that (includes the Inserted and
Deleted items) - i have a user that wants comments only.

:)

How about saving your document, accepting all changes after saving, and then
printing the comments? Then close the document without saving if you need to
retain your tracked changes.
