It depends on the version of PowerPoint. PowerPoint 97/2000 sported this
feature but with complex animations and non linear navigation this feature
was removed. I've created a free add-in which can capture the state of
animation and put it into a new presentation. You can download it here: http://skp.mvps.org/cshow.htm.
