Print email attachments using secure print

Our new Canon printer has a Secure Print feature, which is great. However,
if there are attachments to the emails, they 1) open Word or Excel or
whatever before printing and 2) print automatically to the printer without
being secure print. Also, if printing multiple emails with attachments, they
often print in random order, rather than in the order the emails print.
Makes it hard to match them up with the correct email.

Does anyone know if/how these problems can be corrected, so that the
attachment is printed along with the email?
