print selected records from a subform

I have a table with thousands of records and I want to
select a few and print them. The "Print Selected Records"
option on the Print menu prints the entire table. The
table is in a subform. When I put the table in a form, I
am able to print just the selected reocrds, but I need to
do this with the table in the subform. Is there a
property I can set or will I have to write some VBA to do
this?
