Dear All,
I'm facing the same problems for my 2 computers. One computer is using Word
2003 with 256MB DDR2 RAM and another is using Word XP with 192MB of SD-RAM. I
use HP Deskjet 5740 and Phillip Printer.
The problem is, with HP Deskjet 5740 printer, when I open a new blank MS
Word and Insert a picture from file with 400 Kb JPG picture, the printing
light is blinking for a long time (like it's printing) but nothing is
printing. It seems like it's rendering the image but nothin is printed. And
then all the windows application is become very extremely slow response.
After wait for a 5 minutes, the windows pop up says "Your computer is running
out in Virtual memory, please increase the paging file.....". Then I try to
increase the paging file in windows virtual memory, then the same problem
occurred but this time I must wait 20 minutes before the pup up came again.
So I test again by open a new Word and insert any clip art or small jpg
picture, the result is every are printing very fast and well. Then I try to
insert a small resolution jpg, and it prints well. Then I try to insert 2 jpg
pictures (small and large resolutios) then the same problem!
Then I try to set the large resolution picture in MS Word (400kb) to
"Compress at 200dpi" then every thins print well but the picture is not good
quality printing.
I'd moved the printer to another computer and the same problem occurred.
But I'd printed the same file with another printer (HP Deskjet 920c) and
everything print well!!!
Then the same day, I'd found the same problem with another computer with
Phillip Printer.
Any help?
