Print table properties in database diagram

I'm using Visio 2003's database diagram, and have entered a lot of
definitions on attributes, table definitions, relationships etc. How do I
create a report of this information, or extract it in xml or some other
usable form.

Thanks for the site -- I'll check it out.

The Visio reporting doesn't show field definitions and so on, as far as I
could tell. Is there a way of customizing a report to display these?

Martin,
the problem is that the data is kept internal to some proprietary code and
not all of the data is exposed.

Oh well. I guess we won't be using Visio for our database documentation...

Thanks for the help on this. BTW I found that www.orthogonalsoftware.com
(who seem related to the ORM) had an excellent tool for reversing out much -
but not all- of the information in the model.

I just ran into this same problem with Visio. It is now considered a useless
tool in regards to anything but drawing a picture. I will be going back to
using ErWin, since it does allow me to export the "REAL" data for
documentation.

It boggles the mind why Microsoft produces a useless tool, with useless
utility.
