Printing Bitmaps in Word 2003

I recently upgraded my computer from Windows NT/Office 97 to Windows
XP(SP1)/Office 2003 (SP1). Since the upgrade, when I print a Word 2003
document with a bitmap a grey shading appears around and behind the graphic.
However, when I open the doucment in Word 97 and print it to the same printer
I used when I opened the doucment in Word 2003 there is no shading around the
bitmap. It definately seems to be related to the version of Word as I opened
the document in Word 97 from a Windows NT, 2000, and XP computer and the grey
shading doesn't appear. Any suggestions?
