Printing cards with publisher 2003 with a hp 7150 inkjet

OK I have Avery business cards 8869 and it saids to use template 8373 with my
printer has and its set fine. But when i print they are all off line off side
its like there to big for the cards anyways i have ajusted the margins a
hundered times and can't get it to print right i have spoke to hp no help
there. So please give me some ideas. you can email me at (e-mail address removed) I
really need to get this done asap. I trying to start a new business. I have
little to no money to pay for cards to get made. barely can efford printing
bad cards over and over. My name is Ben and i work for a cable company in va.
getting married in july. and just trying to get my life together. So please
help a man in desperate need of some simple help.

Ben -

The first thing you need to learn is NEVER post your email address like
that. Unless you like spam. Plus, personal responses are rarely ever given.
This is a public group and there could be others with the same situation. If
it's handled privately, no one else learns.

The next thing is to practice on plain paper. It may not be exactly the same
as the card stock but it's a lot cheaper.

Third, what do you mean by "off line off side"?

In page setup, select business cards, click change copies per sheet.

Setup your cards this way if your cards are eight up.
Side >.5---Top> .75 ---both gaps >.5

As JoAnn suggested, print on plain paper, hold the paper and card stock up to
the light and see if they are aligned.
