Publisher won't print business cards correctly on any paper I use

I have to say I hate Vista and Office 2007. I bought a new computer and this
came standard on the computer. I am trying to print my business cards out
and I have done previously in Publisher 2003. Never had a problem in 2003
printing anything. In Publisher 2007 the business cards come out printing
outside of the perforated areas, to high, off center, etc. I have tried
manually going in and adjusting the paper settings and nothing has been
successful. I have wasted tons of paper, ink and now I am frustrated. It
should be as easy as click print and get your business cards, after all that
is what I paid for getting this software. What solutions has Microsoft done
to fix this issue. I have all the service packs. I am about ready to delete
2007 and Vista off of my computer and use 2003.

It isn't Vista... You may have to contact the folks at your printer model web
site to see if a Vista driver is available.
Meanwhile, use one of the Avery USLetter templates, they work!

It has nothing to do with my printer. Publisher is the problem. It doesn't
print within the perforated areas on ANY template. You shouldn't have to
spend hours trying to change the page set up to get this working. Publisher
2003 worked just fine with my printer making business cards. So, using a
template isn't going to sold my problem. Microsoft needs to fix Publisher.

Yes I do. Its a brand new printer that was properly set up including the
driver. Its the issues with office 2007. I have seen others having the same
issue with trying to print business cards. The best resolution is to remove
office 2007 and install 2003. AT least it worked properly.

Hello again stl,

I am sorry you cannot get your cards to print correctly. Even though your
printer is brand new doesn't necessarily mean the driver is current. Did you
check? I don't want to sound like a nag, but Publisher, even Publisher 2007 does
not have printer issues. Have you tried saving as a PDF and then printing to
your printer?

There is an add-on save as PDF for Office 2007 products.
