Printing differences between two documents

CBG

I am using Word 2000 (9.0.4402 SR-1). I believe that on later versions of
this you can compare two documents and print the differences betweent the two
by selecting List of Markup under Print what

Can I get a patch to allow me to do this with my version of word?

Help is appreciated.

That's true. It isn't the same.

But you can still print the differences between two documents using this
method, and sometimes it helps to see the changes in the context rather than
in a list.

CBG,

This could be done with a macro. Are you open to that? If so, do you want
just the changed text, or the full paragraphs that have at least 1 change in
them?

Chad

If all you want to do is suppress the Formatting revisions then on the
Reviewing toolbar use the Show drop down to turn off Formatting. Then
when you print the List of Markup it will not print the Formatting.

If that doesn't fit your needs then you may have better luck with your
macro help if you post to one of the Word VBA newsgroups since that's
where the VBA gurus tend to hang out. :)
