Printing Greeting Cards

I have an HP 1210. I'm working with a top fold 6.5 x 5" greeting card. When I set up the card with a special size and create and then print it, the orientation is the wrong way. It's as though the card should be fed into the printer lengthwise, but it won't fit that way. The card also has to be fed in on the right side. I end up flipping the card and extensively nudging it to put it in the right place. etc. to have it print out correctly - takes forever. Publisher has a set up wizard for envelopes that would help but there is nothing like it for greeting cards. Is there any way to fix this? What am i missing here?

Have you tried adjusting the settings in the printer driver from Portrait to
Landscape and vice-versa?
Is this a local printer or a network printer?

That's what I've had to do but I thought there might be a setting I was missing. I'll download the new driver and maybe that will work. Thank you.

Sorry, forgot to mention its a local. As far as portrait vs landscape - what I would need for it to print properly is the "R" that represents the text etc. in the page setup dialog box to rotate, not just the page. Sorry if this doesn't make sense.
