Printing page numbers

Hi,
i am running PowerPoint 2007.
When i print out the notes pages they all have the same page number 1, NOT
1, 2, 3, 4 etc.
Can someone please help?

Sounds like the Slide number place holder was replaced with the text number
1 on the slide master.

Go to the slide Master, select the slide number placeholder.
Select the text number 1
Select Insert (menu bar) => Slide Number
This should overwrite the text with the insert code for slide numbers

You should now see <#> in the slide number place holder.

Close the Master and save your presentation.
