Are there size limits to the inserts or the entire file
when printing? Can powerpoint files exceed 2 gigabytes
and still function?

LOL, you'll have to tell us....

I think you stand a good chance at hitting Windows resource limits with file
that big. Printer spool files are typically many times larger than the
presentation itself, so if you're going to the LAN you'll want to let the
guy in charge know about it. I'm not optimistic about your chances. :-/

Why is the file so large? What's in the pres, and why are these things so
big?
