Printing Sections of Long Document

Using Word 2002, I am trying to print one chapter of a 6
chapter document. When I put my cursor on the page I want
to print (chapter 5, page 1), Word knows that in the
entire document it is the 87th page. But when I then
print p. 87 to p. 182, word prints page 5-87. When I try
to fix this and print p.1, it does the sensible thing and
prints the first page of the entire document.

To sum up: What I want to print is page 5-1 to page 5-95.
What I can print is page 1-1 to page 3-xx, and page 5-87
to the end.

Any suggestions?

Steve's on the right track, but his syntax is wrong. Actually, you need to
print "p5s2p12s2." For more, see the "Print specific pages and sections"
section of the "Print a document" Help topic.

Almost. It should be "p5s2-p12s2"

Please respond to the newsgroups for the benefit of others who may be

Hope this helps
