[PrjPro/PrjSrv2003] Published Fields

Hi,

I have a question about Published Fields. When you go in
Tools/Customize/Published Fields after selecting the fields you want there
are two radio buttons "tasks" and "assignments". I can't remember and see
what is the difference between this two options.

Could someons make me a refresh?

Hi,

All custom fields apply to Task, Resources and Assignments. Therefore there
is a Text1 field for Task, Assignments and Resources. The Publish Fields
dialog lets you work with Tasks or Assignments in the Tasks View. Setting
the Tasks flag means any custom field you select applies at the Task level.

I recommend you click the Help button on the Publish Fields form and read
the help on the Settings for Section.

We should clarify that to say:

All project standard custom task fields apply at the assignment level
All enterprise custom task fields apply a discreet value only at the task
level.
