Hey!
I have several working stations on witch word-documents is created and saved
in a shared directory.
All documents in this directory is then opened and processed by a macro on
an other workstation (printed using some special equipment) and thereafter
deleted.
My problem is that the printing process often stops with a message saying
that the document it tries to open is used by an other process.
I can think of 2 ways to solve this problem. and in both cases I need your
help.
Case 1: I can check if the document is used elsewhere before I try to open
it.
Case 2: I can check the 'time last modified'. If the document is older then
a few minutes, then the creating process has finished its work and has
released it.
BUT: How do I make the mentioned checks?
