Problem importing OE messages

I'm trying to import Outlook Express messages back into OE after storing it
in a 'mail backup' folder on my desktop. After trying to go through the
steps in the knowledge base the .dbx files are successfully imported
onto my desktop, and do not show up in my OE program. Am I missing
something obvious? Thanks.

Note that this is an Microsoft Office Outlook forum.

Outlook Express is family of Internet Explorer and Outlook of the Office
family.
