Problem inserting projects into a Master File

I am currently using MS Project Server. When I save off all the files from
the server to my local drive I am unable to create a Master file (insert all
projects into 1 file). Everything works fine when I open the files
individually, but MS Project will not let me insert them into a master file.
I keep getting the standard Microsoft Project Error and it reboots Project.
Why is this happening!!??? Please let me know if you have any ideas....I am
desperate to get this resolved.

Have you installed relevant Service Packs or hotfixes? It really does help
if you tell us the version you have and what SP level you are on!
