problem installing office 2000 pro

When i try to install office 2000 it tells me that i need
to insert a disk for windows xp in the drive. then it
shuts down. i dont have a disk like that. is there anyway
for me to get around that or to get another disk???????

PLEASE HELP ME!!!! i am a college student in desperate
need for office.

I am assuming that it is asking for the Windows XP SP1 disk. What it really
wants is the Windows XP CD that was used to load your system. Do you still
have that? If so, put it in when asking for the SP1 CD.
